Talent Across the Ages/Getting Better Better
These workshops are aimed at coaches working or aspiring to work with Talent Athletes. They make up half of the Talent Foundation Series and will be running back to back focusing on how coaches can support athletes through adolescence and ensuring they are aware of the various types of practice that they can utilise to allow for athlete development.
A practical workshop aimed at providing community coaches with a number transferable games to support their delivery. A focus will be on invasion game sports.
The Importance of the Right Environment
This coffee morning workshop is aimed at coaches working or aspiring to work with Talent Athletes. Delivered by John Brierley, (former England Athletics Team Manager for the 2002 & 2010 Commonwealth Games) the session will explore ways in which coaches can create the very best environment for their athletes to flourish.
Project 500 Workshop
This practical based workshop taking place during International Women’s Week this workshop is a female only event. Keep Calm and Carry on Coaching will help coaches overcome their challenges by providing hints and tips to engage participants, an opportunity to share best practice as well as the chance to network and buddy up with other female coaches.
